Maxon drive unit lock ring (ROTOR M36×1 LH)
The chainring / spider on the Maxon BikeDrive AIR S is held by a ROTOR lock ring, M36×1 left-hand thread (Maxon part no. 844730). Tighten to 30 Nm (Maxon design manual). Tool = ROTOR Direct Mount Nut Tool (C00-000-00310) or TOOPRE TL-S24, max 40 Nm. Both fit.

Max 2.5 Nm on battery bolts, tiny drop of Loctite 243. Cage and range-extender bolts are exact length so they never touch the battery — never replace them with longer screws on any Paratu CP.

All fasteners for HMI display, charging port, and Maxon speed sensor on EC2 Paratu CP: 2x Ti panhead M3 (HMI) + 2x Ti countersunk M3 (charging port) + 1x sensor holder + 1x Ti sensor bolt M4. Torque: HMI screws 1 Nm, charging-port screws 1 Nm (max 1.5), sensor bolt M4 2 Nm, all with Loctite 243.
