Ordering & Payment
Do you sell complete bikes or frame kits?
Currently we sell frame kits. Complete bike builds are coming soon — sign up for updates on our contact page.
How do I place an order?
You can order directly through our online store. For custom builds, titanium frames, or large orders, contact us at sales@bikelab-inc.com before placing your order so we can confirm specifications and availability.
What currencies do you accept?
All prices are in USD. We accept major credit cards, PayPal, and additional payment methods depending on your region.
Can I customize my frame?
Yes — titanium frames can be fully customized. Reach, stack, head tube angle, seat tube angle, chainstay length, BB drop, and all interface standards can be adjusted. Carbon frames are available in standard geometry per size. Contact us for a custom quote.
What is the lead time for orders?
Standard carbon frame kits: 4–8 weeks depending on stock. Custom titanium frames: 8–12 weeks from order confirmation. We will confirm your exact lead time at the time of order.
Do you offer test rides?
Yes — test rides are available at select locations. Visit our Test Rides page for current availability and booking.
Shipping & Delivery
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes — we sell and ship direct worldwide. No dealers, no middlemen. Your frame ships directly from our facility in Taichung, Taiwan.
How long does shipping take?
Air freight: 5–10 business days to most destinations. Sea freight: 4–6 weeks (available for bulk/wholesale orders). We will confirm the shipping method and estimated delivery at checkout.
Are duties and taxes included in the price?
We ship DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) — meaning duties, taxes, and import fees are included in your price. No surprise charges at delivery.
Is there a surcharge for eMTB / battery shipments?
Shipping is free for end consumers worldwide — a service valued at $690 USD per frame kit or complete bike. For dealers, shipping costs are included in the wholesale price and vary by country and order type.
How is my frame packaged?
All frames are packed in custom-fit protective packaging designed to withstand international freight. Each frame is inspected before shipping.
Warranty & Service
What warranty do you offer?
All Dirtlab frames come with a manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Full warranty terms are on our Warranty page.
What is covered under warranty?
Manufacturing defects, structural failures under normal riding conditions, and paint/finish defects. Crash damage, improper assembly, and wear items are not covered.
Do you offer crash replacement?
Yes — we offer a crash replacement program at a reduced cost. Contact us at sales@bikelab-inc.com with photos and your order details to start a claim.
Where do I get my bike serviced?
Dirtlab frames are compatible with standard components and can be serviced at any qualified bike shop worldwide. For motor and battery service on eMTB models, refer to your Maxon BIKEDRIVE AIR S documentation or contact us for authorized service options.
How do I register my warranty?
Register your frame on our Warranty page within 30 days of purchase. You will need your order number, frame serial number, and purchase date.
Carbon Frames
What carbon do you use?
We use T700 and T800 high-modulus carbon fiber in a monocoque construction process. This gives an optimal balance of stiffness, strength, and weight across the frame.
How strong is a carbon frame?
Our carbon frames are engineered and tested to exceed EN and ASTM standards for mountain bike use. Carbon is not inherently fragile — our frames are designed for aggressive enduro and trail riding.
Can a carbon frame be repaired after a crash?
Minor carbon damage can often be repaired by a qualified carbon repair specialist. We recommend having any impact-damaged frame inspected before riding. Contact us for guidance on our crash replacement program.
Are custom colors available on carbon frames?
Custom color and decal options are coming soon. Sign up for updates via our contact page.
Titanium Frames
What titanium alloy do you use?
We use 3Al-2.5V titanium for tubing — the industry standard for bicycle frames, offering excellent strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion resistance, and ride compliance. Select structural areas use 6Al-4V for higher strength requirements.
Can I get a custom geometry titanium frame?
Yes — this is one of our core offerings. Reach, stack, head tube angle, seat tube angle, chainstay length, BB drop, and all interface standards can be customized. Visit our Custom Frame Builder page or contact us for a quote.
What finish options are available for titanium?
Options include raw brushed titanium, bead-blasted matte, and anodized accents. Custom finish combinations are available on request.
How does titanium compare to carbon?
Titanium offers a more compliant, dampened ride feel and is virtually immune to corrosion. Carbon is stiffer and lighter for the same geometry. Both are premium choices — the right one depends on your riding style and priorities. See our Titanium Process page for more detail.
eMTB & Maxon Motor
Which motor does the Paratu CP use?
The Paratu CP uses the Maxon BIKEDRIVE AIR S — the lightest full-power eMTB motor available, weighing just 1.7kg with 90Nm torque and 620W peak output.
Does the Maxon motor overheat on long climbs?
No — the Maxon BIKEDRIVE AIR S does not thermally throttle under normal riding conditions. Unlike most competitors that cut power after 6–18 minutes of sustained climbing, the Maxon maintains full output throughout. This is one of its biggest advantages for enduro and alpine riding.
What battery options are available?
The Paratu CP is available with a 400Wh integrated battery. A 650Wh extended battery option is also available for longer rides. See our Battery System page for full details.
What is the real-world range?
Range depends on terrain, rider weight, assist mode, and elevation. Use our Range Calculator for a physics-based estimate tailored to your ride profile. A typical enduro ride (1200m elevation, 80kg rider, TRAIL mode) yields approximately 35–40km on a 400Wh battery.
Does the Maxon motor feel like a real bike?
Yes — the Maxon torque sensor is proportional, meaning motor assist scales precisely with your pedal effort. Combined with the light weight of the Paratu CP (17–19kg depending on build), it delivers the closest feel to a real mountain bike of any eMTB system available.
Sizing & Geometry
How do I choose the right frame size?
We recommend sizing based on reach rather than height alone. Each bike page includes a full geometry table. If you are between sizes, contact us — we can advise based on your riding style and body proportions.
What sizes are available?
Carbon frames are available in S, M, and L — three sizes that cover the full range of riders. Titanium frames are available in XS through XXL, and can also be fully custom-built to your exact geometry. See our Custom Frame Builder for titanium options.
Can I get a custom geometry on a carbon frame?
Carbon frames are produced in standard sizes. Custom geometry is available on titanium frames only. See our Custom Frame Builder for options.
What is S-Volve sizing?
S-Volve is our frame sizing system that optimizes reach, stack, and standover across all sizes for a consistent, proportional fit. Learn more on our S-Volve Sizing page.
