Titanium Dirt Jump & Pumptrack Hardtail — PT

“Iuhu” means Pure Joy in the Taiwanese indigenous Bunun language, pronounced “YooHoo.” The Iuhu PT Ti is our titanium dirt jump and pumptrack hardtail — offered in versions per wheel size (26″ and 27.5″), each its own frame design, for a dirt jump fork (90–100 mm on 26″, 100–120 mm on 27.5″).

The Iuhu PT Ti is a titanium hardtail for pumptrack, dirt jump and trail shredding, built for the hardtail lovers and purists. 3AL-2.5V seamless titanium tubing, TIG-welded in Taiwan. Each wheel size (26″, 27.5″) has its own frame design; fork travel 90–100 mm (26″) or 100–120 mm (27.5″), dirt jump forks only. Titanium’s natural damping, fatigue resistance and corrosion resistance make this a frame you can ride hard for many years. 5-year warranty. Factory to rider, no middlemen.

Why Titanium

Titanium is the ideal material for a frame you want to ride every day, in every condition, for years. Where carbon excels in stiffness-to-weight, titanium excels in durability, vibration damping, and longevity.

Natural Vibration Damping

Titanium’s crystalline structure absorbs high-frequency trail chatter that carbon passes straight through. Less fatigue, more control on all-day rides.

Fatigue-Resistant

Unlike aluminium, titanium alloys have a true fatigue limit: kept below it, the material resists fatigue cracking for a very high number of load cycles. We back every titanium frame with a 5-year warranty.

Corrosion Immune

Titanium forms a self-healing oxide layer. No paint needed. Raw brushed finish that resists sweat, mud, salt, and trail debris — and only gets better with age.

Crash Resilient

Titanium dents rather than shattering. A rock strike that would crack a carbon frame leaves a cosmetic dent on Ti — ride on, no structural worry.

Riding: Pumptrack, Dirt Jump, Trail

The PT is a hardtail for pumptrack laps, dirt jump sessions and trail shredding. With a dirt jump fork (90–100 mm on 26″, 100–120 mm on 27.5″) it stays playful on the pump track and holds its line on rough trails.

Titanium’s natural damping takes the sting out of hard landings and rough trails.

Built Simple

No rear shock, no rear pivots: the PT puts every pedal stroke into the rear wheel and needs almost no maintenance. Titanium’s stiffness-to-weight ratio keeps power transfer sharp out of every berm.

  • Hardtail: no rear shock and no rear pivots to maintain
  • Versions for 26″ and 27.5″ wheels — each its own frame design
  • Fork travel 90–100 mm (26″) or 100–120 mm (27.5″) — dirt jump forks from DVO and Öhlins (Öhlins RXF 36 DJ = 90 mm), supplied by Dirtlab
  • 142 × 12 mm rear axle, BSA 73 mm bottom bracket with ISCG tabs

5-Year Warranty

Every DIRTLAB titanium frame comes with a 5-year warranty against manufacturing defects. Titanium resists fatigue very well and is highly corrosion-resistant. We build frames that outlive trends — and we stand behind them with a 5-year warranty and crash replacement for the life of the frame.

Carbon frames carry a 3-year warranty, titanium frames a 5-year warranty. Read full warranty →

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Iuhu PT Ti?
The titanium dirt jump / pumptrack hardtail of the Iuhu family, offered in 26″ and 27.5″ versions (each its own frame design). Grade 9 Ti hardtail frame (no rear suspension) for a dirt jump fork (90–100 mm on 26″, 100–120 mm on 27.5″).
How does it differ from the Iuhu LT Ti?
Both are titanium hardtails. The PT is the dirt jump / pumptrack frame (26″ or 27.5″ wheels, 142 × 12 mm, BSA 73; dirt jump fork 90–100 mm on 26″, 100–120 mm on 27.5″); the LT is the extreme trail / bike park frame (148 × 12 mm, 150 mm fork (range 140–160 mm)).
What Ti grade is the frame?
Grade 9 titanium (Ti-3Al-2.5V) — same as the LT. Welded in argon-purged chamber with full back-purge on every junction.
Can I order custom geometry?
Yes — the standard custom-frame process applies. See /pages/custom-frame for details on reach/stack/seat-angle adjustments.
What drivetrain works?
Any 1x12 (SRAM or Shimano). The PT uses the same UDH hanger standard as our other frames.
Is suspension setup different from the LT?
No — both the PT and the LT are hardtails: there is no rear shock to set up, only the fork (PT: dirt jump fork, 90–100 mm on 26″ / 100–120 mm on 27.5″; LT: 140–160 mm).
What is the expected frame life?
Many years of hard riding. Titanium resists fatigue very well under bicycle-scale loading and is corrosion-immune.
What is the warranty?
5-year warranty to the original owner against production defects in material and workmanship.
What finishes are available?
Raw brushed, bead-blasted, or mixed. Decals in multiple colors — see the configurator on /pages/custom-frame-builder.
How long does an order take?
60 days from cleared 50 % deposit, balance before shipping. Custom geo adds 2-3 weeks.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Iuhu PT Ti?

A titanium hardtail frame (no rear suspension) for pumptrack, dirt jump and trail riding, in versions for 26″ and 27.5″ wheels and a dirt jump fork (90–100 mm on 26″, 100–120 mm on 27.5″). 3AL-2.5V titanium, TIG-welded in Taiwan, with a 5-year frame warranty.

What does PT stand for?

The PT is the pumptrack / dirt jump member of the Iuhu family — a titanium hardtail, offered per wheel size (26″, 27.5″), for a dirt jump fork (90–100 mm on 26″, 100–120 mm on 27.5″).

Why titanium instead of carbon?

Titanium provides natural vibration damping, is highly fatigue-resistant (very long fatigue life below its fatigue limit), corrosion immune, and crash resilient. For riders who want a frame for many years, titanium is a strong long-term choice. Carbon is lighter; titanium is very durable.

What does the warranty cover?

Production defects in the titanium frame, for the original owner, for 5 years from delivery. See our warranty page for full details.

What sizes are available?

XS / S / M / L / XL / XXL (24″, 26″ and 27.5″ versions), plus full custom geometry. Titanium frames are built to order — use our S-Volve sizing tool to find your size.

How much travel can I run?

The PT is a hardtail, so there is no rear travel. Fork travel is 90–100 mm (26″) or 100–120 mm (27.5″): dirt jump forks from DVO and Öhlins (Öhlins RXF 36 DJ = 90 mm) that Dirtlab can supply.

Which wheel sizes are available?

The PT is built in 26″ and 27.5″ versions — each its own frame design, with the same wheel size front and rear.

Is a Pinion gearbox option available?

Yes. Available with a Pinion gearbox mount as a factory option. Sealed internal gearing pairs perfectly with titanium’s low-maintenance philosophy.

Does the raw titanium finish need maintenance?

No. Titanium forms a self-healing oxide layer. No paint, no clearcoat, no touch-ups. Wash it and ride.

What does DDP shipping mean?

Delivered Duty Paid. The price you see is the price you pay — we handle all import duties, taxes, and customs clearance. Free worldwide shipping. No surprise fees at your door.

How does the PT Ti compare to the LT Ti?

Same titanium construction, same 5-year warranty, both hardtails. The PT is the dirt jump / pumptrack frame (26″ / 27.5″; dirt jump fork 90–100 mm on 26″, 100–120 mm on 27.5″); the LT Ti is built for extreme trail and bike park riding (150 mm fork (range 140–160 mm)).
