Setup Notes

Important Notes

Starting Point, Not Gospel

These are factory baseline recommendations. Every rider and trail is different. Use these as your starting point and adjust by feel. If in doubt, start softer — you can always add pressure.

Rider Weight = Kitted Up

Enter your weight with all riding gear: helmet, pack, water, tools. For e-bike builds, the bike's extra weight is already factored into the E-bike riding style adjustment.

Sag Target: 28–32%

All pressures target 30% sag. Check sag with a shock pump after setting pressure. Adjust ±5 psi until you hit your preferred sag percentage within this range.

Volume Spacers

Stock air-shock configuration. For riders over 90 kg or aggressive style, consider adding 1–2 volume spacers for additional bottom-out resistance. HBO-equipped shocks may not need spacers.

Shock Specification

Eye-to-Eye 230 mm (all travel configs)
Stroke Options 57.5 mm (145 mm) / 60 mm (155 mm) / 62.5 mm (160 mm) / 65 mm (165 mm)
Mounting Trunnion mount, horizontal orientation
Target Sag 28–32% (46 mm at 165 mm travel)

Setup data from Paratu CP Setup Database. Pressures target 30% sag. Always verify with a shock pump.
