Iuhu PT Titanium Frame
Titanium Enduro Frame — PT

The Iuhu PT Ti is a titanium do-everything frame. 3AL-2.5V aerospace-grade titanium, TIG-welded in Taiwan, with the same G-Volve geometry as the full Iuhu platform. Wide travel range from trail to enduro. Titanium’s natural damping, fatigue immunity, and corrosion resistance make this a frame you ride hard and keep forever. Lifetime warranty. Factory to rider, no middlemen.

Why Titanium
Titanium is the ideal material for a frame you want to ride every day, in every condition, for years. Where carbon excels in stiffness-to-weight, titanium excels in durability, vibration damping, and longevity.
Natural Vibration Damping
Titanium’s crystalline structure absorbs high-frequency trail chatter that carbon passes straight through. Less fatigue, more control on all-day rides.
Fatigue-Proof
Unlike aluminium, titanium has a true fatigue limit. Below its threshold stress, the frame will not develop fatigue cracks — ever. That is why we warranty it for life.
Corrosion Immune
Titanium forms a self-healing oxide layer. No paint needed. Raw brushed finish that resists sweat, mud, salt, and trail debris — and only gets better with age.
Crash Resilient
Titanium dents rather than shattering. A rock strike that would crack a carbon frame leaves a cosmetic dent on Ti — ride on, no structural worry.
Descending: Versatile Platform
The PT sits between trail and full enduro. With up to 160 mm of rear travel and fork compatibility up to 170 mm, it handles rough terrain with confidence while staying nimble enough for tight singletrack.
63.5° head angle provides stability on steep terrain. Titanium’s damping smooths out high-frequency chatter, keeping you fresher and more in control on extended descents.
Climbing: All-Day Efficiency
The PT’s wide travel range starts at 130 mm — efficient enough for long XC-style climbs. Titanium’s stiffness-to-weight ratio keeps power transfer sharp, and the 77.8° seat tube angle positions you efficiently over the pedals.
- Tuned anti-squat keeps suspension firm under power without locking out
- 130 mm rear setting transforms the PT into a capable trail bike for mellow rides
- 160 mm rear setting gives full enduro capability for race days
- Same G-Volve geometry as the full Iuhu platform — proven on every terrain
Lifetime Warranty
Every DIRTLAB titanium frame comes with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. Titanium does not fatigue like aluminium or degrade like carbon. We build frames that outlive trends — and we stand behind them without an expiry date.
Carbon frames carry a 5-year warranty. Titanium frames carry a lifetime warranty. The material earns it. Read full warranty →
Titanium vs Carbon
Two great materials, different philosophies.
| Attribute | Iuhu PT Ti | Iuhu (Carbon) |
| Frame Material | 3AL-2.5V Titanium | High-modulus Carbon Fibre |
| Vibration Damping | Excellent — natural to material | Moderate — depends on layup |
| Fatigue Life | Infinite (below fatigue limit) | Progressive degradation over time |
| Corrosion Resistance | Immune — self-healing oxide | Resistant (UV/impact sensitive) |
| Crash Resilience | Dents, does not shatter | Can crack from impact |
| Weight | Moderate | Lightest option |
| Warranty | Lifetime | 5 Years |
| Finish | Raw brushed titanium | Paint / clearcoat |
| Custom Sizing | XS–XXL + full custom | S / M / L |
The DIRTLAB Formula
G-Volve Geometry
Long, not too low, and slack. 63.5° head angle × 77.8° STA. Balanced for speed on descents and efficient power transfer on climbs. Each size proportionally scaled, not just stretched.
K-Volve Kinematics
Anti-squat and anti-rise tuned for consistent suspension behaviour — firm under power, supple over impacts. Same performance across all sizes.
S-Volve Sizing
Titanium frames are built to order in XS through XXL — plus full custom geometry for riders who need it. Use our S-Volve tool to find your perfect fit.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Iuhu PT Ti?
A titanium full-suspension frame designed to cover the widest possible range of riding — from mellow trail (130 mm) to aggressive enduro (160 mm). 3AL-2.5V aerospace-grade titanium, TIG-welded in Taiwan, with G-Volve geometry and a lifetime warranty.
What does PT stand for?
PT stands for the versatile, all-purpose configuration of the Iuhu platform. It bridges the gap between trail and enduro — one frame that adapts to your riding style via travel and fork choices.
Why titanium instead of carbon?
Titanium provides natural vibration damping, is fatigue-proof (infinite fatigue life below threshold stress), corrosion immune, and crash resilient. For riders who want a forever frame, titanium is the superior long-term choice. Carbon is lighter; titanium lasts longer.
What does the lifetime warranty cover?
Manufacturing defects in the titanium frame, for the original owner, with no expiry date. See our warranty page for full details.
What sizes are available?
XS through XXL in standard sizing, plus full custom geometry. Titanium frames are built to order — use our S-Volve sizing tool to find your size.
How much travel can I run?
130, 140, 150, or 160 mm rear travel. Fork compatibility is 140–170 mm. At 130/140 mm it rides like a trail bike; at 150/160 mm it is a proper enduro machine.
Can I run it as a mullet?
Yes. The Iuhu PT Ti supports 29″/29″ or 29″/27.5″ mullet configurations.
Is a Pinion gearbox option available?
Yes. Available with a Pinion gearbox mount as a factory option. Sealed internal gearing pairs perfectly with titanium’s low-maintenance philosophy.
Does the raw titanium finish need maintenance?
No. Titanium forms a self-healing oxide layer. No paint, no clearcoat, no touch-ups. Wash it and ride.
What does DDP shipping mean?
Delivered Duty Paid. The price you see is the price you pay — we handle all import duties, taxes, and customs clearance. Free worldwide shipping. No surprise fees at your door.
How does the PT Ti compare to the LT Ti?
Same titanium construction, same G-Volve geometry, same lifetime warranty. The PT has a wider low-end travel range (130–160 mm) for trail versatility. The LT Ti focuses on longer travel (150–170 mm) for dedicated enduro and light freeride.
