Power and Performance: My Riding Experience with the Tutumaz XC
When participating in various races in Taiwan, I always choose the Tutumaz XC. This mountain bike offers unparalleled strength and stability, making it my top choice for every race. Its frame allows for smooth handling even on rugged terrain, and especially on descents, it fills me with confidence.
The design of the front fork angle is particularly outstanding, enabling me to maintain fluidity and stability while cornering, especially on gravel roads. This stability allows me to tackle challenging sections at higher speeds, whether it's sharp turns or uneven surfaces, all of which can be handled with ease.

I was immediately drawn to its appearance, and after riding it, I loved it even more! Since I’m only 151 cm tall, it’s not easy to find a bike that fits me, but this one allows me to easily control it. I can ride for long periods without feeling back pain. The stability on downhill rides is excellent, and its performance over obstacles is impressive. It’s lightweight yet doesn’t feel too bouncy! I really love it!

I live in Taiwan and have been riding mountain bikes for over three years. I’d like to share my experience with this bike. Previously, I used a carbon frame, but since last year, I switched to a Tutumaz XC. Taiwan's forest trails are narrow, with intricate tree roots, and due to the rainy and humid weather, the ground is often washed out with loose rocks, making bike control difficult. After switching to the Tutumaz XC, I noticed a significant improvement in stability, especially downhill. The frame provides more support (whereas the carbon frame's flexibility sometimes caused extra vibrations for me). The suspension setup and feedback are also more precise, which has boosted my confidence and allowed me to ride faster.On uphill climbs, the titanium frame's properties make my pedaling power more efficient, helping me tackle long or steep sections that I would have had to walk before. Another notable point is how the bike handles tight turns. The frame's inertia prevents the handlebars from over-rotating, so I feel more confident leaning into turns and trying to drift. And of course, if I ever slip or make a mistake, I don’t worry about damaging the frame—it’s titanium, after all! This year, I’m going to take her to complete the 2025 BC event in Canada. I believe we will make it.

But honestly until recently I was riding a "big name brand" carbon xc bike until Marvin convinced me to also ride for Dirtlabin XC races as he wanted to do a new XC frame design. Me, my coach Andy and Marvin spent many eveings during our Japan trip discussing and created the new Tutumaz XC FS.
The basis of the frame is a new longer slacker geometry adjusted to my body size and when I received the bike we immediately built it up and a week later I raced it for the first time in the Xterra Asian Pacific race in Taiwan and I managed to win the race. Never have I felt so relaxed riding an XC bike and even with me using the short travel version 100mm front and rear (110 rear 120 front is also possible) The frame is stiff yet comfortable and the kinematics and geometry give the bike a natural feeling and it is soo light when climbing and very stable and easy when descending.
for Asian people and taller western people the fact that beside the standard sizes you can also buy custom geo and sizing is amazing. The finish on the welding is very good and the laser logos applied are small not too much in your face but give the frame an exclusive touch.
Get yours and the waiting time of 60 days is very much worth it this bike will change your ride and make you smile all the way.
